My Life in Crime was originally published in 1984 in Kenya while John Kiriamiti was still in prison. The book was an immediate best-seller with readers queuing up at bookstores to buy their copy. It has been a best-seller ever since with the book now in its 12th printing. The book was never promoted outside of Kenya but he story is universal in appeal and the production company seeks to utilize the power of that story to a worldwide audience.
